Music for the day: Now in school so no music Mood for the day: Getting ready for World Cup Germany 2006
yoz peeps. im back. today is 9th June 2006. the time is 1606 and its only juz 7hrs plus away from the start of World Cup Germany 2006. its the time when all guys will be restless for the whole month. girls, if your boyfriend is late for any appointment, do show some care as World Cup only comes once every 4 years (the same excuse will come when the Euro comes). anyway, hope tonite will hav a gd match and nt like 2002 where the opening match, France VS Senegal, was really the eye opener (with France losing to Senegal 1-0 and not getting a single point from the group matches). well, this year too was a big suprise as some new teams made it to the group stages. the african teams in particular. firstly, wtf is nigeria doing? (no offense here) and wat? togo made it to the world cup qualifiers. its their first ever world cup and to wat i see, i nv heard any big-shot players in togo. then nx, cameroon is not in. there goes samuel eto'o but lets welcome didier drogba of ivory coast. IMO, eto'o was a better player than drogba. a fantastic goal starter *scorer in barcelona. drogba, he was lucky cuz he got to chelsea. (no offense again.)
moving rite along, wat is angola doing in the world cup too? why is romania, russia, or even greece, the European Champions for 2004 in the world cup. this year's world cup seems really exciting with the groups all evenly distributed out. but hope this year we wont get to see that much shocking defeats by the underdogs.
anyway, enf of the world cup. cuz its making me more excited. juz hope that the world cup in germany wont remain the ppl about wat happened in Munich in 1972 during the Olympics. in case you ppl out there din know, in 1972, during the Olympics in Munich, 11 Israeli athletics were killed by a terrorist organisation called "Black September". the news came as a shock for the whole world. especially to the Israeli government and the Germans. i dun really know the exact details but the movie "Munich" does hav some details but i cant really rmb as Munich focus on the aftermath of the Black September incident. well, so i shall not go any further to say about that.
if you guys din know, im blogging from my school. in my fyp lab where so many ppl walk pass my lab and tend to always look into the lab as if we are some peculiar animals. we are in a lab that is so called a "Fish Tank" by my lecturers. y izit a "Fish Tank" you may ask? that is cuz NYP block S level is so called the "Orchard road" of NYP. many visitors from all around the world, will visit the facilities here and take a look. (as if there is anything to see, it basically all computers everyway and our school computers are juz like the same as any other.) so students here have become an exhibit, cuz lecturers want the visitors to see students in all the labs whenever they visit this place. anyway i tink i better stop here b4 any of the lab managers here see me doing nth. (fyi, i really din hav anything to do cuz my supervisor din giv me any more work for now) okie, i shall stop here. will continue some other day. ciaoz.
