{Tuesday, August 15, 2006 . Growing UP}

Remember when we were little kids, we always wanted to grow up quickly and become a GROWN-UP or ADULT. We always thought that turning into an adult will be cool as we get to do lots of things that little kids can't.

When we finally turn into a FULL GROWN ADULT, we wish that we were forever little kids, living everyday without any troubles. We don't need to bear any responsibility of what we do and we can just do whatever we want without any worries that we were be thrown to jail.

I'm sure most people will think the same way that i do some point in their life. Like some of my friends always say, "Oh no, i'm getting older already. How i wish i can return to my 6 year-old self?". Well, we have to face the truth. No matter what we do, we can never get back and even if we do get back, what do you want to do? Wish that you can get old again? If that's the case, i see no point in going back to the past.

So people, given a choice, would you want to :

a) go back to your past and live your childhood again?

or

b) continue with your current life?

For me, i would choose B even so much so that my life in A is much more interesting. Don't try to ask me why i chose B because i can never give a good answer. The only reason i can think of is that i'm accepting reality. I'm accepting the fact that getting old is part and parcel of life. There's really no way you can try to go back to your past and live it again. Since we can't live our childhood life again, we might as well live our current life to the fullest without regrets so that next time when we get even older, we won't say something like, "i wish i was 20 again."

So people, live your life to the fullest everyday. I'm sure you don't want to live till when you are 60 over years-old you come to regret and say, "i regretted not doing this when i was 20 years old." If you know that you will regret not doing something, you might as well try to do it. It's better to do it now than only regretting it when you can no longer do the thing again.

Think about it people. The decision lies in your own hands. The future is yours to create.

P.S.: This is just my 2 cents. If you really disapprove, go ahead. I won't stop you.
